I don't leave many reviews, however, this place deserves it, and people need to know. Just tried the brisket sandwich, and it's one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. The food coming out of the kitchen ordered by others looked outstanding! There are many different dishes I'm excited to try. I also really enjoyed chatting with the owners, who are two of the nicest people you'll ever meet. I'm VERY happy this place came to Orangeville!!! Returning in 2 days for my birthday lunch.

Where do I even begin to tell you how much I enjoyed my lunch yesterday at Chillout Cove Authentically Jamaican yesterday?!?! First of all, already love the owners, Patricia and Mike. I was so lucky to have a chance to speak to them in depth. Entrepreneurs that understand people, kindness and what it takes to have your guests feel the warmth of their business and their appreciation for the community’s support. They have also been foodies all their lives. The room is beautiful! It feels like quiet luxury. The banquettes have a nice feel to the hand and are comfortable. The lighting, the Motown music, the beautiful tables and bar made my lunch time experience feel intimate. Alright, now the food and drink. I’ve never had elevated Jamaican food. I had no idea what to expect after Kelli shared the menu. I asked Patricia for the hits and they all sounded incredible. While she described them, she was animated and passionate. I asked her to recommend a traditional Jamaican drink. Boy, I am so glad that I did! The drink is called Sorrel. It reminded me of my favourite aperitif, old school Dubonnet. The Sorrel base is Hibiscus juice and there is just a splash of Jamaican rum. Quenching and delicious. Made me smack my lips. Always a wing girl so I ordered the Honey Garlic Chicken wings. Don’t laugh! I know it’s a continental dish but I was in the mood for wings and had to compare them to my favourite places. They were absolutely perfect. Everything you want in an order of wings was right there on my plate. Batter was light mixed with selection of special spices. Crispy yet held on to that honey garlic sauce for dear life. Meat was tender and juicy. This is when I asked Patricia about the Jamaican patties. She brought me a spicy beef one served with Sweet Chili sauce and a side of perfectly chosen greens with nutty arugula. This was so tasty that I ordered a dozen mixed frozen ones! The vendor that they use are Chinese Jamaican so these patties tasted very special. The mix was spicy, mild and chicken. Ordered another four for our sweet neighbours in mild and spicy. For my main course, I ordered the Flame Kissed Jerk Chicken. THAT SAUCE!!! Sweet, lightly smoked gravy. Mike stopped what I was doing when I scooped up my first spoonful of rice. He ordered me to push the chicken aside, and mix the rice in with the sauce underneath. I GET IT NOW! My eyes literally closed from enjoyment. Loved the bone-in jerk chicken more than any jerk chicken I’ve had in my life. It’s marinated in jerk seasoning blends and then slow cooked. What the menu doesn’t tell you is what they do to elevate the flavour. There is a light kiss of Cherry Wood Smoke on that Jamaican Jerk Chicken. It was also served with coleslaw. I usually leave all of my side coleslaw when it’s served. NOT THIS ONE! Not one string of cabbage was left on the plate. The plating was beautiful, classy and portions were generous but not gluttonous. I’m going back soon for their Jamaican Oxtail! Maybe today for lunch before the storm hits! Thank you Mike and Patricia. What an amazing first experience at your establishment

Love this place! Orangeville has been waiting for you! The food was eye appealing and delicious, we were 3, had jerk chicken, oxtail, and fish. Lemon pepper wings as an app, which I had to have an order of to take with me after. Service was great, owner Mike is full of personality and just the right energy to make an enjoyable experience. My dinner mates enjoyed it too and we'll definitely be returning. Well done! So glad you're here.

Inside is so beautifully decorated went in for a take out order and just had to sit down to enjoy the ambience. The service was top tier, our server Ray was fantastic so friendly and attentive even though she was juggling several orders. Onto the food. This was the best Jamaican meal I’ve had -_- i ordered the bbq fried chicken and rice and peas and from the first bite all I could taste was perfection. I also got fried dumplings on the side and again - it was perfect you could tell a lot of love went into making this meal. Can’t wait to return and try the other dishes! Thank you for such a wonderful experience!

We were looking forward to trying out Chill Out Cove since we saw it posted on Orangeville Foodie Facebook page .. and let me say it did not disappoint. Such a wonderful atmosphere with great decor and top notch staff. We were greeted with such enthusiasm and the fact that they learn your names and interact with you during your dinning experience is something you can’t top! The food is fresh and delicious. We tried the jerk chicken tacos as a starter and could eat 30 more , filling delicious and the fresh pineapple .. drool. My partner had the ox tail and I had chicken curry , both were phenomenal. So many left overs as well. We will be back!

Came here for the first time with my boyfriend and the food was SO good. I got the pasta, (huge portions!) and my boyfriend got the oxtail and said it was delicious. Our server Ray was super sweet and gave great service! We will definitely be coming back :)
